Jonathan D. Zischkau

Chief Administrative Judge; born August 7, 1957, in Rockville Centre, New York; son of Herbert S. Zischkau, Jr., and Susan Daood Zischkau; Carnegie-Mellon University (B.S., 1979); University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D., 1982); married to Alice Pincus Zischkau; children: Jonathan, Jr., Joseph, Cecilia, Mary, Matthew, and Suzanna; admitted to the New York bar in 1983 and the District of Columbia bar in 1986, and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 1986; Associate, Fish & Neave, New York (1982-1984); Law Clerk to Hon. Phillip B. Baldwin, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (1984-1986); Associate, Crowell & Moring, Washington, D.C. (1986-1993); Steering Committee member, D.C. Bar Government Contracts and Litigation Section (2004-2006); Board of Directors, Board of Contract Appeals Judges Association (2003-2005); Editor/contributor, Government Contracts chapter, D.C. Bar Practice Manual; Member, D.C. Laws and Regulations Committee of the District of Columbia Procurement Reform Task Force; Board of Trustees, Youth Leadership Foundation, which provides supplementary education and mentoring for Washington area school children.  Appointed to the D.C. Contract Appeals Board on July 26, 1993.
