Warren J. Nash
Warren J. Nash, Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, BA, History, 1974, JD, Law, 1977. Warren worked at the Legal Aid Society of Omaha as a Reginald Heber Smith Fellow for two years. In 1979, Warren joined the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General Corps. Warren served two active duty tours in the Washington area, at Navy Recruiting Command Headquarters in Arlington, VA, as an assistant staff judge advocate and at the Naval Legal Service Office in the Washington Navy Yard as a defense counsel.
Warren left active duty in September of 1984 and started work at the Office of the Corporation Counsel (now Office of the Attorney General) in December of 1984. He began his employment at OCC in the law enforcement section of the criminal division. In 1987, Warren transferred to the Public Works Division, where he represented the Department of Public Works before the Contract Appeals Board. In 1993, Warren transferred from the Public Works Division to the Procurement Section of the Commercial Division. He worked at the Procurement Section until February, 2004, reviewing District government contracts and representing the District government before the Contract Appeals Board. He was appointed to the Contract Appeals Board in February 2004. In June 2006, he was elected to the Steering Committee of the Government Contracts and Litigation Section of the District of Columbia Bar Association. He is the president of the Board of Contract Appeals Judges Association.
Warren is married to Beverly. Together they have a daughter named Yvonne.
