Rulemaking
The Notice of Final Rulemaking for the current Board rules, published at 49 DC Reg. 2078 (March 8, 2002), provides in relevant part:
"The District of Columbia Contract Appeals Board, pursuant to DC. Code §§ 2-309.01 to 2-309.08 (2001 ed.), hereby gives notice that on February 28, 2002, it took final rulemaking action adopting the following rules to be codified at Chapters l, 2, 3, and 4 of Title 27 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (“DCMR”). A notice of proposed rulemaking was published at 48 DC Register 9843 (October 26, 2001). The Board received no written comments. No substantive changes have been made to the text of the proposed rules. The final rules . . . will be effective on the date of the publication of this notice in the DC Register."
Although these older versions are now obsolete, they are available for historical research relating to the development of the Board's rules of practice and procedure.
